Iran's capital market is 5 decades old.
Historically, the Iranian capital market has experienced ups and downs during its five decades of activity. Before the Securities Market Law was passed in 1969, a different structure dominated the capital market. Despite this long history, most of the capital market growth has been achieved in light of the new Securities Market Law, which is thirteen years old. Fortunately, our country is currently a leader in the capital market in many ways. If we look at the number of stock exchange code holders, the number of supervised entities, the number of accepted issuers, and other important variables, we see that we are in a good position globally.
